Anxiety Disorder Panic Attacks
Anyone who has seen Edvard Munch’s painting of the Scream can relate to how the feeling of extreme anxiety can overcome one person. Anxiety disorders are a common ailment to professionals and entrepreneurs today since they are more prone to stress and depression, brought about by their job and working conditions. These anxiety disorders come in different types and an estimate shows that anxiety disorders and panic attacks affect 18% of Americans. That is just in U.S alone. How about in the Asian and European countries? Indeed we can say that this nervous disorder is more common than it seems to be.
If you know someone who is suffering from this disorder, then you know how anxiety disorder panic attacks can damage careers, relationships, and life. These chronic conditions are triggered even from the early age of the patient. You could notice how they tend to easily flare up at times of stress and pressure. One can feel the symptoms of headache, muscle spasms, heart palpitations and even hypertension. The suffering person can be seen tired and fatigue at work in the office. If you see yourself having these symptoms, then it is time to get help.
There are different types of anxiety disorder panic attacks. One type is called GAD or generalized anxiety disorder. This is a very common disorder that is characterized by extreme anxiety, worry ad fear. The suffering individual can be too concerned with his everyday task and routine. Although the source of their anxiety is really not specific, and even not real in life, GAD affects most of the older adults. There is also panic disorder where a person suffers short attacks of worry and terror. You can find the person trembling, confused, and dizzy at times. Triggered by stress or fear, anxiety disorder panic attacks are known to last long in the person.
Other types of anxiety disorder panic attacks are phobias and obsessive compulsive behavior. Although there are many types of phobias, most would still boil down to unnecessary fears and assumptions, like the case of the fear of public speaking where the person before even trying to overcome the fear assumes that he or she will make a mistake in front and the people will laugh at them. These assumptions are not exactly true and it all depends on the individual. If there are two words to describe the true nature of anxiety disorder panic attacks, I would say it would be needless fear, or unnecessary worry.
