One of the basic human emotions is fear, and fear when not falsely understood and not conquered becomes anxiety in the long run. Anxiety is considered as one of the basic human emotions. Any person you know has experienced anxiety in his lifetime. We can experience it while taking exams, while preparing for a big event, or even a simple speaking engagement. It can be manifested in the form of butterflies in the stomach or the worried feeling when your loved one leaves the house for a long period of time. These will in a way cause a feeling of anxiety in us.
Anxiety attacks causes some pretty damages in the person suffering from it. Some relationships and marriages have been ruined because of this. Those who work in the corporate setting can also attest to its power. Persons suffering from anxiety attacks can miss out promotions or perform poorly at work. What’s worse is that most people suffering from it really don’t know how to deal and cope with this nervous disorder.
Anxiety attacks causes long-term damages too. Panic disorder for example has been found to be passed on from generation to the other. Anxiety attacks causes some biological effects too like obsessive compulsive behaviors, post traumatic disorder, hypertension and Wilson’s disease. It can also cause phobias of different types. Almost everyone of has a form of phobia to deal with. Anxiety attacks can cause lack of assertiveness and some maintaining causes. An individual suffering from anxiety attacks can appear passive and dull.
Because most people don’t know how to deal with anxiety attacks, they succumb into heavy drinking, smoking and illegal drugs. These are a means of temporary escape and are sure to worsen the condition. And the worst cause will probably be death or some chronic serious illness.
Soon when all things will worsen, the individual can appear paranoid and cardiac conditions will soon arise. There are reports thought that tells of sudden death. But this is because the individual failed to cope up or manage to the extreme feeling of anxiety. In this state, anxiety has taken the person totally, and every actions and situations seem to be brought about by the expectations. But don’t be dismayed, there is still hope.
